- Arrival
- Your arranged airport pickup welcomes you to Zanzibar and takes you to our villa.
- From 4 pm
- Check in, enjoy a welcome drink, discover your room and receive your SOLARA welcome gift. Earlier access is subject to confirmation.
- Afternoon
- Unpack, unwind by the pool or beach, and get to know your fellow travellers at your own pace.
- Evening
- Our welcome dinner at the villa brings everyone together. Optional intention writing and a little tarot, with a beach bonfire if conditions allow.
02Wednesday 13 JanuaryOcean mornings & sunset+
- 8 am
- Optional beach yoga with our instructor (additional charge).
- 9 am–noon
- Breakfast at the villa.
- From midday
- Discover kitesurfing with a beginner or private lesson, ride independently if experienced, or simply enjoy Paje beach. Lessons are optional and paid separately.
- Afternoon
- Time for beach bars, a massage, the pool or pure relaxation.
- Before sunset
- We head together to a Michamvi sunset beach bar. Entrance and return transport are included; drinks are extra.
- Evening
- Dinner at your leisure, with recommendations and booking help if you wish.
03Thursday 14 JanuarySandbanks & island lunch+
- Morning
- Set off on our included ocean adventure, with boat excursion and transfers. Breakfast arrangements will be confirmed before departure.
- On the water
- Explore spectacular sandbanks, snorkel around reefs, swim in turquoise water and enjoy fresh fruit.
- Lunch
- Enjoy an included island lunch, with time to relax and explore.
- Late afternoon
- Return to the villa and unwind.
- Evening
- Free evening for dinner at your leisure or an optional massage.
Ocean excursions depend on weather and sea conditions; the programme order may change.
04Friday 15 JanuarySpices, cooking & music+
- 7 am
- Optional early beach yoga (additional charge).
- From 8 am
- Breakfast at the villa.
- 9:30 am
- Head out for our included guided spice-farm experience, with return transport.
- Afternoon
- Free time for the beach, pool, kitesurfing or a massage. Optional activities are paid separately.
- From 6 pm
- Discover local flavours in an included Zanzibari cooking class at the villa, followed by dinner together.
- After dinner
- Optional night out for music and dancing. Group return transport is included; bar drinks are extra.
05Saturday 16 JanuaryChoose your own island day+
- 8 am
- Optional beach yoga — or sleep in!
- 9 am–noon
- A leisurely breakfast at the villa.
- Your day, your way
- Choose kitesurfing, a massage, a cave visit, Stone Town, lunch at The Rock or simply relaxing at the villa.
- Another idea
- Paddleboard through the mangroves, subject to tides and availability.
- Evening
- Gather for sunset drinks, arrange dinner with new friends or enjoy a quiet evening. Optional activities, transport and meals are paid separately.
06Sunday 17 JanuaryOne more day, your way+
- 8 am
- Optional beach yoga (additional charge).
- 9 am–noon
- Breakfast at the villa.
- Daytime
- Make the most of your final full day: kitesurfing, massages, mangrove paddling, island exploration or time by the pool.
- Late afternoon
- A little time to recharge, and optional complimentary closing tarot with your host if available.
- Evening
- Our farewell gathering: beach bonfire, drinks and snacks, weather permitting. A chance to share stories and celebrate the week. Dinner is at your leisure.
07Monday 18 JanuaryBreakfast, goodbyes & home+
- Morning
- Enjoy a final breakfast at the villa, timed around departures where possible.
- Checkout
- Say goodbye to your island home at the confirmed checkout time.
- Departure
- Your arranged return airport transfer takes you to the airport for your onward journey.
